Kabulgan I
Kabulgan means shape change, metamorphosis in Central Asian mythology. The artist considers this term in terms of the intellectual evolution of the individual in the process of knowing himself and the universe in his inner life, rather than a physical transformation. In his works, the tense forms in motion that he interprets with inspiration from a bat in contemplation represent this process.
