Dakhme

Since prehistoric times, people have used the mask as a tool to transform themselves from their current state into another being and the characteristics that the being represents. Nowadays, the term mask/masking has turned into a metaphor for hiding the truth, sometimes in abstract and sometimes concrete meanings. The artist uses the mask figure in his works as a tool to confront himself and society. By hiding the real thing, it questions the existence and reality of the characters that the person wants to be and show.
