1982 yılında doğan Özlem Yılmaz Mimarlık eğitiminden sonra 2009-2010 yıllarında aktif olarak mimarlık yapmaya başladı ve aktif mimarlık pratiğinin yanı sıra fotoğraf ve video çalışmaları üretmeye başladı. 2019 yılında sanatsal üretimine odaklandı ve 2021 yılında 'Olimpos Sergileri 2' karma sergisinde fotoğraf çalışmalarından bir seçki ile yer aldı (İstanbul). 2022 yılında ise video çalışmaları ile ‘Senkron Video Sergileri’ kapsamında Vision Art Platform’da video işleri sergilendi (İstanbul). Daha önce çalışmalarını Salzburg/Avusturya ve Salt Galata/İstanbul'da karma sergilerinde sergiledi. 

Halen Berlin’de yaşıyor ve sanat ve mimarlık pratiğine birlikte devam ediyor.

Özlem Yılmaz, born in 1982, began her active architecture practice in 2009-2010 after completing her architectural education. In addition to her architecture practice, she started producing photography and video works. In 2019, she focused on her artistic production, and in 2021, she participated in the group exhibition "Olimpos Exhibitions 2" in Istanbul, showcasing a selection of her photographic works. In 2022, her video works were exhibited at Vision Art Platform in Istanbul as part of the "Senkron Video Exhibitions." She has previously exhibited her works in group exhibitions in Salzburg/Austria and Salt Galata/Istanbul.

She currently resides in Berlin, where she continues to pursue both her art and architecture practices.
