Numan Okutan
He graduated from the Department of Painting at Erciyes University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2010. In 2014, he completed his Master's degree in the Art and Design Department at İzmir Selçuk Yaşar University. The artist has presented his works to art audiences in open spaces and galleries through various art disciplines and has participated in numerous group exhibitions.
In 2014, he took part in the MIXER Art Gallery with his performance works during the IPA SUMMER CAMP event organized under the leadership of Burçak Konukman. In the same year, he performed at the Geothe-Institute Istanbul, coordinated by the Tarabya Cultural Academy and led by Nezaket Ekici.
In 2017, he received an exhibition award in the Nuri İyem Painting Award competition.
In 2019, he held his first solo exhibition titled "Atonal9 Solo" at Barın Han (Istanbul) curated by Bengü Gün.
In 2020, he participated in the "CONTINUING TO CONTINUE" exhibition project held at the Santral Istanbul Energy Museum, led by Derya Yücel and pioneered by Bilgi University. In the same year, he participated in the STEP ISTANBUL event.
In 2021, he took part in the exhibition titled "WITH MOMENTUM TO THE WORLD OF TOMORROW," held in the historic hammam building of Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus, curated by Eşref Alemdar.
In 2022, he was part of the IMCE 2.0 exhibition held at BARIN HAN. In addition to his oil painting works, the artist continues his video performance and digital art projects at his studio in Istanbul Balat.
