1980-1985 yılları arasında Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümü’nde eğitimini tamamladı. 1986-1996 yılları arasında Kültür Bakanlığı İstanbul Restorasyon ve Konservasyon Merkezi Laboratuvarı’nda Fresk ve Mozaik restorasyonu konusunda mesleki eğitim aldı ve Uzman Restoratör olarak çalıştı.

1991 yılında Kültür Bakanlığı’nın özel bursuyla 4 ay boyunca Ravenna, İtalya’da eğitim ve araştırma yaptı. 2013-2015 yılları arasında Görsel Sanatlar Vakfı yönetim kurulunda başkan yardımcılığı görevini üstlendi ve halen Görsav üyesidir. 
 
1996 yılından bu yana kendi atölyesinde çalışmalarına devam etmektedir. Sanatçı, yurtiçi ve yurtdışındaki birçok karma sergiye katılmıştır.

She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting between 1980-1985. Between 1986-1996, she received professional training in Fresco and Mosaic restoration at the Istanbul Restoration and Conservation Center Laboratory of the Ministry of Culture and worked as an expert restorer.

In 1991, she conducted education and research for 4 months in Ravenna, Italy with a special scholarship from the Ministry of Culture. Between 2013-2015, she served as the vice president of the board of directors of the Visual Arts Foundation and is currently a member of Görsav. 
 
Since 1996, she has continued her works in her own studio. The artist has participated in many group exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
